From the creation of a more comfortable corset to the invention of stretch fabrics and the alphabet sizing system—Warners has been revolutionizing the bra and underwear industry since 1874.
1874
Founded by brothers, doctors Lucien and DeVer Warner, Warners created The Coraline Corset to address the discomfort experienced by their female patients due to traditional corsets.
1936
Warners innovative solution – the adaptable cup A'lure Bra. Prior cups were inflexible and uncomfortable, but the adaptable design of the A'lure Bra molded to her shape, standardizing the bra sizing system.
1963
The 'Stretchbra' is Warners Grand Slam Winner, and becomes the brand's top-selling bra. Iconic ads were shot by a legendary photographer of the era.
1996
Debuting in a national black and white print campaign in the 90's, the renowned Marilyn Monroe lingerie line swiftly gains popularity among women across America.
2014
Warners No Side Effects® Underarm-Smoothing Bra with extra coverage panels and elastic-free sides becomes the best-selling bra nationwide.
